Tips for the Use!
- Saffron is very efficient — already a small pinch can refine and season a dish for four persons.
- Use with the mortar — crush the fine saffron threads and dissolve the resulting powder in warm water or milk. To gain the golden yellow color, let the liquid rest for 10 minutes and subsequently add it to your dish.
- Saffron should not be roasted or be added at the beginning of the cooking. It would lose its valuable flavor.
